Pours an opaque mahogany coloured brew with a very nice head and good lacing that almost remains before you finished it. The aroma of spices and fruit rise from the glass, oranges, pineapple, raisins with some yeasty and woody notes. The flavor has predominantly orange and lemon peel notes which are very recognizable for the Hoegaarden's collection. Quite sweet and the alcohol is not well hidden but ends in a very nice and dry finish.
Kwak is recognisable by its deep bright amber colour and a dense, creamy coloured head. The pale wood of the glass holder makes a pleasant contrast with the beer. Smell the mellow fruity and malty aroma with a slightly spicy character (coriander, hops). Additional earthy and very subtle aromas of banana and perhaps also a whiff of pineapple or mango in the background.
