St. Paul Double

I
t pours a deep red colour with slight orange. The head is tanned with decent retention and nice foam lacing that stays. Flaky sediments are all over the brew. Aromas of dark fruits and quite nutty. Same for the flavours, nutty throughout with light notes of chocolate malt and a slight taste of smoke and oak wood in the aftertaste. Thin-bodied with some light tart on the tongue. A very well-balanced and light dubbel that is quite refreshing.

St. Paul Speciale

An Abbey Ale from Meer, in the northern part of Belgium, pours a hazy nut brown colour with a nice beige head and good lacework. The taste gives huge amounts of cinnamon, molasses, plums, carrot, fennel and yeast. Medium to full bodied, low bitterness with a sweet finish and lingering hints of yeast and plums. A sophisticated beer with good spicy / fruity components.

Val-Dieu Triple

Its a full bodied taste is progressive but never excessive. A slightly sugared flavour in the middle of the mouth - a perfect combination of alcohol, bitterness and sweetness. Finally accentuates an aromatic and alcohol bitterness. Excellent and highly digestible, particularly when accompany a good meal.
