This Abbaye beer is a degustation beer with a higher fermentation. The ingredients are pale malt, maize, water hops and yeast which gives this brew its deep golden colour. The flavour is very powerful and full bodied with strong fruity and herbal aromas refering to clove and vanilla. A good balance between fruitiness and bitterness. The slightly smoked notes together with the alcohol reminds you of a Cognac or Whiskey. The aftertaste last is warm and is long lasting.
